As a clinician, my focus is primarily on women and all the highs and lows encountered throughout the span of womanhood. This includes, but is not limited to: the exploration of identity and the impact of hormonal shifts on mental health (early womanhood, fertility challenges, perinatal, postpartum, and menopause). Additionally I support women through periods of adjustment, such as: work changes, life and family transitions (such as shifts in family structure, a child receiving a disability or neurodiversity diagnosis, challenging health diagnoses for family members), dealing with trauma and loss (empty nest, decline of a spouse, loss of a child or loved one).

I have specific training in perinatal mental health from Postpartum Support International for supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum mental health. I also have specialized training in working with families through perinatal loss.

I, along with my K9 companion, Renegade, are a certified therapy dog team of Invisible Paw Prints who provide support and stress relief in the Charlotte area wherever there is a need.
